Social Protection in the Nordic Countries

Comparison of Social Security in the Nordic Countries

NOSOSKO (Nordic Social Statistics Committee under the Council of Ministers) publishes annual reports on the current developments in the social conditions in the Nordic countries.

The report looks primarily at what happens at social events such as birth, unemployment, sickness, reduced physical functioning and aging. The report covers what financial compensations various persons are entitled to in the Nordic region, and compares legislation and development costs and the number of recipients of the various social security schemes.

On NOSOSKOs homepage you can read more in the report Social Protection in the Nordic Countries, and find previous reports.
